Just watched Jingle all the Way (Thanks Aron and Ann Sofie!).

The late great Phil Hartman’s lecherous performance makes this Christmas not-so-classic tolerable. Also, if we’re being honest, I have a bit of a soft spot for Sinbad….

Although I don’t agree with all the picks – I’m looking at you, Polar Express – there are a few unexpected gems.

It’s an eclectic mix of old standards (The Nutcracker Suite, Angels we Have Heard on High), 50’s Christmas rock (Boogie Woogie Santa Claus, Dig That Crazy Santa Claus) and TV faourites (You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch), all of which hold up well to the ’Orchestra’s rockabilly treatment.
