Moleskine Diaries
Sunday, December 28th, 2008Well, it’s that time of year again. Time to buy a new day planner – if you didn’t already get one for Christmas….
I’ve used a lot of planners in my time, and it’s taken me over 10 years to find one that I’m satisfied with.
The recently revived Molskine brand offers diaries in a number of different formats. My fave is the large sized weekly diary. It gives you the whole week at a glance on one spread and leaves me enough room to write my daily to-do list. They also have a sturdy hardcover in designer-friendly black and the off-white paper is easy on the eyes and a joy to write on.
Moleskine also offers notebooks and sketchbooks, but for straight-up sketching, I prefer Rhodia’s graph paper notebooks with micro-perforated pages for easy removal. Jonathan Howells of Graphic Definer turned me onto these about 5 years ago an I’ve been using them ever since.
What do you use?
